Our Afterschool Kayaking Program offers a fun and supportive introduction to kayaking in a safe, relaxed environment. Designed for children to build confidence on the water, these sessions focus on basic paddling skills, teamwork, balance and water safety, while still leaving plenty of time for fun and exploration!
Children will learn how to safely get in and out of a kayak, paddle efficiently, steer and work together on the water, through a range of games & activities. Each week we will build on previous skills and learn new ones, so that participants can refine their techniques and become confident on the water.
Sessions are led by an experienced kayaking guide, who will provide clear instruction, encouragement and close supervision, allowing kids to challenge themselves at their own pace.
